Revcollect is an e-government, revenue management and collection software that helps our clients (mainly state governments and their various agencies) manage all the processes of taxation as well as receive payments from multiple payers through various payment channels and member banks while providing the customer real time notification of monies collected across the channels. It uniquely manages the tax liabilities of individuals, assesses them for payment and provides them their payment history. It also allocates unique identity numbers to all companies and individuals and provides several MDAs of government access to their revenue windows. The client has access to this information by logging onto the secure Revcollect URL (website) to view aggregated or individual collections in real-time. This product is a multi-bank multi-channel product that can be used by numerous customers from different locations.
The system has specialized modules for unique collections in the generation of revenue. The use invoicing and centralized receipts concept.
The system is designed to upload to the central electronic archive, all relevant tax/revenue documents for future referencing and record keeping.
The system which allows the operators to communicate either in bulk or selected registered members. The alert system when activated sends payment confirmation immediately payment is made at the bank to the tax payer. It also alerts the tax payer when his next tax liability is due for settlement.
All companies operating in the state will be registered and their unique number tax ID issued.
The system captures all information needed for tax purposes from individuals including picture and finger prints for unique identification.
The new centralized system will enable tax payers to make payments through mobile, web, POS etc.
The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel has a set a record of the highest sum of internally generated revenue, following the sum he raised in a span of one year using Revcollect in all government transactions. The State Finance Commissioner, Mr Akan Okon made the announcement on Friday, June 17, 2016 as he briefed a coalition of journalists in the conference room of his Ministry’s state Secretariat Office.
